This 1999 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra is a performance-built example of a modern classic, showing 122,000 miles on the chassis with only 90,000 miles on a newly swapped 4.6L DOHC V8. Representing the first year of the aggressive New Edge design, this Cobra has been significantly upgraded while retaining its factory pedigree and street-friendly drivability. Finished with a 2003/2004 Cobra front bumper cover, tinted windows, blacked-out badges, LED third brake light, and functional hood struts, it offers an assertive aesthetic that complements its mechanical upgrades.





The powertrain is matched with a new Tremec 3650 transmission built by Sean Scobee of Lafayette, IN, paired to a McLeod Street Spec clutch and lightweight flywheel for responsive performance and long-term durability. A Driveshaft Shop one-piece driveshaft helps deliver power smoothly to the rear wheels, while new rear differential bushings ensure stability under load. Shifting is precise thanks to a Steeda short-throw shifter, a Steeda clutch cable with firewall adjuster, and a Raceseng weighted shift knob that gives a confident mechanical feel.





Performance and handling are enhanced with a Pypes exhaust system that brings out the natural tone of the 4.6L V8, while SVE Drift wheels wrapped in Hankook Ventus tires provide grip and visual impact. Power Stop brakes provide confident stopping power, rounding out a well-balanced street machine. Inside, this Cobra retains its SVT heritage with leather-trimmed sport seats and SVT-specific detailing.
