1999 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible 5.7L LS1 V8 Automatic Black over Black Leather
Top down, 345 horsepower of LS1 V8 behind you, and the short-throw rumble that made the C5 the Corvette that finally drove as good as it looked. This one is a black-on-black convertible sitting on black wheels with polished lips, its a local Georgia trade, and it just came out of our own service shop with a long list of work already completed and documented. One key, no owners manual books stated up front.

? What Youre Actually Getting
? 90-point Carma inspection plus a documented pre-delivery inspection completed by Duluth Auto Service & Imports on 09/17/2026.
? OBDII scan performed and photographed: all drive monitors completed, zero stored or pending trouble codes. The scan photo is in this listings photos so you can read the results yourself rather than take our word for it.
? Service just completed by our own service team at Duluth Auto Service & Imports: front brake pads replaced, brakes checked, new battery, battery and charging system checked, spark plugs and spark plug wires replaced, valve cover gaskets replaced, oil and filter changed, wipers replaced, and a sun visor repaired. On an LS1, the valve cover gaskets and the plug-and-wire service are the two jobs that head off the classic oil-on-the-plug-boots misfire both are done.
? Estimated value of that work: roughly $1,700 to $2,600 at dealer labor rates (our estimate this is our own shops work, so the full scope of it counts).
? No accidents or damage reported to CARFAX over 27 years. No structural damage, no airbag deployment, no total loss, and a clean title no salvage, junk, rebuilt, fire, flood, hail, or lemon brand, and no odometer rollback indicated.
? 28 service records and 76 detailed records on the CARFAX, every owner a personal owner no fleet, rental, or commercial use in its history.
? Local Georgia car since 2019, with consistent documented service at Georgia shops right through this year.
? One key, no owners manual books.

?? Real Value Why This Is More Than a Price Tag
We cross-check every vehicle against multiple independent sources instead of quoting whichever number flatters us most, and on a 27-year-old Corvette those sources spread out so here is the whole picture. Kelley Blue Book puts a 1999 Corvette Convertible at $13,453 private party. Live comps for 1999 Corvettes in the 93,000 108,000 mile range show sold examples from $12,987 up to $17,995, with currently active asking prices between $13,950 and $14,999 sold numbers are what somebody actually paid, asking numbers are what somebody hopes to get. Edmunds appraisal tool is the outlier, landing near $5,069 dealer retail, but it defaults to 12,000 miles a year on a car this old, which prices a 320,000-mile Corvette rather than this one. Weighing those together against this cars mileage, a fair market range here is roughly $12,500 to $14,500.

Now add what comes with it, in real dollars:
Service just completed, $1,700 $2,600 estimated. Brakes, battery, plugs, wires, valve cover gaskets, oil. Those are bills the next owner is simply not going to get.
5-Year Maintenance Plan, $2,500 value. 25 discounted oil changes plus radiator service, AC service, engine diagnostics, and hundreds of additional discounts, with no year or mileage restrictions five years of upkeep on a weekend car, at a discount.
Quality Plus Auto Protection Plan, $300 retail value. Level 1 engine, transmission, and drivetrain coverage, paying up to $1,500 toward an engine or transmission failure. On a 27-year-old V8, thats coverage most cars this age simply dont come with.

All in, thats roughly $17,000 to $19,900 in total value in this vehicle.
Price is only what you pay, but value is what you get. A cheaper C5 somewhere else is cheaper today and can be far more expensive over three years, once a deferred valve cover job, a tired battery, and an unprotected powertrain catch up with it. Weigh the whole picture rather than the sticker alone. Market pricing on C5 Corvettes moves were always happy to pull a current market pricing report for you on request, because our goal is that you never overpay and that you walk away with as much value as possible.

?? Vehicle History (Full Transparency)
Odometer reporting on the CARFAX read this one carefully. The actual mileage on this Corvette is 111,813. The most recent CARFAX service entry shows 118,664, and that figure is a data-entry error made when the service record was submitted. We caught it, were not hiding it, and we have a correction in process with CARFAX. The entry immediately before it reads 111,663 in April 2026, which lines up with the car in front of you; 118,664 does not line up with anything in the record. CARFAX reports no indication of an odometer rollback and no odometer title brands. Note also that Georgia title records on this car read exempt from odometer reporting, which is standard for any vehicle past the federal 10-year odometer-disclosure window and is not a red flag by itself it simply means mileage isnt certified on the title.
Seven previous owners. More than average, and worth knowing. What those owners did with it matters more: no accidents, no damage, no title brands, and 28 service records spread across Texas, Oklahoma, and Georgia, including a fuel pump replacement, multiple alignments, and regular emissions and safety inspections. A well-documented car with several owners beats a neglected one-owner car every time.
One emissions inspection in September 2019 shows as failed and then passed the same day. It was re-tested and cleared immediately, and the car has passed Georgia emissions since, including August 2020. Registration records run current through August 2026.
Aftermarket wheels. The black wheels with polished lips are not factory. Theyre cosmetic and have no effect on this vehicles Certified Pre-Owned status or its included coverage, but a buyer who wants an original-wheel car should know going in.
Normal wear for a 27-year-old convertible. Expect cosmetic imperfections consistent with age paint chips, interior wear on high-touch surfaces, and a soft top that has lived outdoors for a long time. We photograph honestly and well walk any specific area of the car with you on video before you make the drive out here.

?? Buyers Guide & Realistic Expectations
Every used vehicle we sell carries the federal Buyers Guide, and its worth actually reading before you sign it it lists the fourteen major systems buyers most often have trouble with, including engine, transmission, differential, cooling system, electrical system, fuel system, brakes, steering, suspension, and air conditioning, along with the specific failures associated with each. Almost nobody reads it, and the gap between what buyers sign and what buyers expect is where most disappointment comes from. A 27-year-old sports car with over 110,000 miles is a used car: something will eventually want attention, and we would rather tell you that now than have you find out later. The As-Is acknowledgment is a separate and much narrower signature and is not what were describing here.
