Classic Car Overview
The SVT Mustang Cobra is a muscle car built by Ford’s Special Vehicle Team from 1993 through 2004. The SVT Cobra was a high-performance version of the Mustang that was positioned above the GT and the Mach 1 models during its era of production. The 1998 Cobra was basically a carryover from the 1996 model with the exception of an open air grille feeding the new larger radiator, a larger diameter fan, a redesigned console with no clock pod and the stereo now included a single cd player as well as a clock. It was ordered with the preferred option package which included leather seating, the Mach 460 sound system and the total antitheft system. It is 1 of 1,334 coupes ordered with Black paint and a Black leather interior. This particular example is a 3 owner car with just 9,887 original miles that is almost completely stock with a few exceptions which include the staggered chrome SVE rims wrapped in Nitto NT555 tires, the cowl hood, the rear wing spoiler and it sounds just plain nasty ripping through its Magnaflow stainless steel performance exhaust system. The interior looks like new as does the paint which was recently ceramic coated and has such an incredible shine you would think it’s a mirror. The car has been recently serviced and everything is in perfect working order as you would expect. If you have been looking for a clean SVT you will be hard pressed to find one in better condition at any price!
