This hard-to-find 1998 Chevrolet Silverado 4 x 4 Extended Cab, Long Bed with a 7.4 liter V8 Engine has never let me down. It has easily and safely hauled a camper and horse trailer with 2 horses. It starts up in cold weather immediately and its 4-wheel drive is great in snow. With its well-equipped interior, it is a joy to drive. Why buy an expensive newer truck when you can have a high performance, comfortable truck with mechanical simplicity and a lower cost of ownership? The heavy-duty cast "Iron big-block" 7.4L V8 Vortec in these models are legendary for reaching 200,000 to 300,000 miles with just basic maintenance.
Mechanical
New front brake pads, blower motor and relay, as well as R&R resistor & relay. Well maintained, no mechanical issues. It has a Draw-Tite Activator II brake controller for towing and has been wired for a camper.
Exterior
No rust. White exterior paint is in very good condition. Small dings on right door with scuffed black trim paint over right tire. Newer tires.
Interior
Seat upholstery is in very good condition. AC/Heater, Radio, CD player, Clock, Power Windows, Power Locks, Power Steering, Cruise Control and Exterior and Interior Lights all work.
