We're very pleased to offer this extremely clean, and well restored 1997 Land Rover Defender 110, refinished in gunmetal gray over caramel brown leather interior. The truck is powered by the 300 TDI engine, with a 5 speed manual gearbox which has been rebuilt as well. This Defender features modern creature comforts such as air conditioning, upgraded interior heater, electronic modern dashboard, power windows, power locks, and sound deadening material, and more!
The engine has plenty of power, bringing this Defender to highway speeds just fine, and the 5 speed manual gearbox shifts through all of the gears very smooth and nicely.
This Defender was stripped down to the frame, and the frame was treated for any rust in order to have a "clean slate" to begin this Defender restoration on. The body was then replaced with brand new body panels, to ensure a smooth and high quality paintjob in Gunmetal Gray which will last for many years to come. The hood was upgraded to a more modern Puma hood to give the Defender a more modern and aggressive appearance. The lights were converted to LED lighting.
The suspension was replaced along with steering and braking components. The Defender was converted to disc brakes, to provide a more comfortable and smooth daily driving experience.
The interior is reupholstered in caramel brown leather interior, with upgraded seats all around and a new headliner.
