1997 Ford F350 4x4 Crew Cab

Up for sale is a 1997 Crew Cab Long Bed 4x4 ZF 5-Speed with a '97 12 Valve Cummins, the swap was done by me with the help of friends. The engine was purchased used with 244,xxx miles on it, I verified that it was in good running condition but did not rebuild it, instead I resealed which included the following; PA inspection good until 6/27

Tappet cover gasket - Cummins OEM
Rear main seal - Cummins OEM
Oil filter housing gasket
Upper radiator outlet gasket
Grid heater/intake horn gasket

Very little engine oil leaks that I have been able to notice.

New parts from Carrick Customs include;

Engine mount kit
Ford A/C compressor mount
4x4 shift relocation kit

Parts from OBS Solutions include;
Hydroboost conversion kit
Intercooler conversion kit W/ stock 99-03 7.3 PS intercooler

I bought Adventure Vehicle NW power steering kit that "deletes" the Dodge Ram factory vacuum pump and instead powers the power steering pump directly from the timing gear set. Vacuum for HVAC controls comes from Carrick Customs electric vacuum pump kit.

A new Red Head steering box finishes out front steering component upgrades.

Diesel Conversion Specialists supplied the necessary parts which included the bell housing adapter, flex plate and clutch ( which is a South Bend Clutch product )

Transmission was rebuilt by a friend using OE parts from Torque King 4x4, however it has not shifted properly since, seems like the synchros are not working properly in some of the gears.

I have more into this truck then what I'm asking. I'm selling because we are planning a move to Maine and need the money for a downpayment on a property. I used it to tow my stump grinder, which will also be sold. I refuse to drive the truck in the winter time, especially in Maine, hence the reason for selling. Someone else might as well enjoy it.
