Classic Car Overview
It was baught new by my uncle passed to my father and is now being sold out of his estate by me (his son and legal executor)
Official Pre-purchase Inspection (July 9, 2026). To show total transparency, I took the truck to a reputable local auto repair shop for a full Pre-purchase Inspection last month. I have the report in hand and posted in photos for you to look at.
-The frame was certified by the shop as 100% solid. (At this time).
-The inspection originally noted a power steering leak and a slight idle hesitation with no codes shown.
-The issues have been fully repaired. A vacume leak was repaired. A new upgraded power stearing pump and new high pressure hose have been installed.
A massive list of new mechanical parts (Full Overhaul)
Lower intake gaskets were replaced along with the gasket kit for this job. Upgread the, spider Ingector, throtel body and upper manifold was replaced. (Because it's plastic compound).
New distributor cap and rotor, spark plugs and spark plug wires, belt and tensioner, altenator, power steering pump, high pressure power steering hose, master cylinder and break power buster. The suspension; 2 upper ball joints,2 lower ball joints, 2 inner tie rod ends, 2 Outer tie rod ends, 2 tie rod adjusting sleeves, 2 sway bar end links, one pitman arm, one idle arm and one idle arm bracket. New shocks front and back. 2 new wheel bearings with front disk breaks at 75% strong, rear break drumbs at 70% strong. Aftermarket Eagle rims with newer tires around 80%.
Rust; the frame is solid the pickup bed is excellent no rust solid. However, the rocker panels baseboards below the doors are rusted all the way through (hard to see at a glance but it is there). Rust around the wheel wells have mostly been treated and painted over. Strictly to prevent further corrosion. Total body: it shows it's 29 years. The shop inspection notes dents and dings. As well as scrape scratches and fading pants. The body's (cosmetic aperence and flaws) are reflected in the price listed at $7500.
Other notes; At this time the AC will not be repaired. The windshield wipers are skechy/spechal?
Additional pluses: Dash bord is flawless. Steering wheel is flawless. Truck bed is flawless. Frame is solid. Engine and four wheel drive transportation work and preform like a truck with 66 thousand miles. Interior has some flaws. It's not showroom floor. It's a little step below showroom, I say 90% with a dash bord you can't beleave till you see it.
Parted out this truck is worth .... what someone will pay for these parts over 6 months. Is that over $7500? ?
To finalize this transaction. Both parties must be present to transfer title over at the DMV. This is an estate sale. Ensures safety for both parties to transfer funds and title at the same time. Thank you and good hunting
