The exterior has been repainted in two tones, the original wheels (all numbered VW), the tires have been replaced, and new oval hubcaps and chromed metal wheel covers have been installed. The entire carburetor system was redone, the block was overhauled, with complete cylinder head replacements, complete cylinders, pistons and rings all new and top-of-the-line (Mahle).
