1996 Nissan Skyline GTS-T

A favorite of ours here at JDM Sport Classics, the R33 Nissan Skyline GTS25t is hard not to respect, and an extremely eye catching and tastefully modified example like this one might just be impossible to not appreciate. With a worldwide known reputation of hard-hitting performance, and sitting in the middle of two other greats in the lineup of R-Chassis, the R33 comes with massive engineering improvements over the R32 but at much more affordable price than most R34s. Examples like this are becoming harder and harder to find in Japan and examples here in the US are often loved enough by the owners to be a regular part of their personal collection. With low mileage, great modifications, and an incredible sound, this R33 is sure to become the perfect centerpiece for its next owners collection.

Powering this Great, and sitting up front is the RB25DET, producing 250 HP from factory, major modifications and even standard bolt-on performance parts can show an exponential increase in performance. Thanks to its inline-6 reliability and ease of modification, the Skyline and the RB family have rightfully become a favorite with many automotive enthusiasts, including ourselves. Sending this power to the rear wheels to a factory LSD, a 5 speed manual lets the driver take full control of when and and how this power pushes this unit along. With the equipped aftermarket parts found all around this particular R33, like the Blitz front mount intercooler and aftermarket intake, power delivery is smooth and responsive, and thanks to an aftermarket high flowing downpipe and a full Apexi exhaust, this RB25 produces one of the best and most recognizable exhaust notes in the world of JDMs.

Sitting inside, the overall condition of this example has held extremely well. With little in the way of wear and tear, and no noted cracks on the dash, or tears in the seats, this R33 has been preserved very nicely with little signs of its age. An aftermarket Momo steering wheel and Nismo shift knob both offer a more connected feel to the road, and controls for the aftermarket Blitz turbo timer and Apexi FC Commander are all well within reach. However, as well modified as this example is, OEM amenities and comfort are still high in the priority list of this R33 while it retains the original OEM seats, trim, and even floor mats. Features like the OEM digital climate controls still function perfectly and produce hot heat when needed and cold AC when wanted.

Outside, this R33 is distinguished, incredibly recognizable, and is flashy in all the right ways. An aftermarket full M Sports style aero kit goes all the way around and both compliments the original body lines and brings some aggression to the mostly modest exterior that the factory look of the R33 originally offered. A GTR rear spoiler and GTR styled front grill pay an homage to Nissans hardcore variant of the R33 while staying true to the timeless classic look of the Skyline. Work Emotion D9R wheels are a perfect fit and fill the arches without taking attention away from the rest of the vehicle. And wrapping it all up in what could be argued as the most recognized OEM color to ever touch a vehicle, this GTS25T has been completely refinished in the stunning and vibrant TV2 Bayside Blue. Originally an R34 only color, the metallic shine and vibrancy of this blue fits the R33 just as well and gives this Skyline the Wow-Factor that anyone can appreciate.
