Classic Car Overview
I bought her back in June of this year, as a fun investment after returning home from overseas. She was imported and totally inspected and maintained by the folks over at Nomadic Vans (website is: nomadicvan.life). They do a BEAUTIFUL job getting this Japanese vans American Road-Ready through their performance tunes and additions.
In September (2022) I took the van back to the boys to get a brand new Hyundai D4BF engine installed and when I say it is new... it is BRAND new. This brand new turbo diesel engine has 1416 Kilometers or roughly 880 miles. As part of this swap they replaced the radiator and installed a brand new clutch so she drives flawlessly, and for years and years to come. The transmission is essentially the last thing left stock. The body has 272,000km or roughly 169,000 miles. (See last picture for engine specs).
The below information is from the original listing when I purchased it in June.
Equipment includes a brush guard, front and rear parking mirrors, cloth upholstery, configurable cabin seats (fit for a queen sized blow up), a dash-mounted altimeter/inclinometer/thermometer gauge pod, power locks and front windows, front and rear air conditioning, and more as detailed below.
A partial list of modifications reported by the original seller includes a Nomadic Stage 1 performance tune and a 2.25-inch custom side-exit exhaust system, 15-inch alloy wheels with 31-inch Sailun TerraMax Mud-Terrain tires, a roof rack and basket with mounted shovel, custom exterior graphics, and a JVC touchscreen head unit.
This Star Wagon was imported and prepped for original sale by Idaho-based Nomadic Van, a dealership specializing in Delica models.
Built on a modified chassis borrowed from the Pajero, these "L300" 4x4 vans came with a wide variety of trim packages and equipment aimed at outdoor-minded and adventurous folks. In recent years, they have become very popular in the U.S. as more trickle in due to the expiration of import time restrictions.

With that being said it pains me to sell, but as a college student I've quickly learned that now is a hard time in life to be able to afford toys. I'm not in a rush to sell, so please no low-balls, but I am open to negotiation.
I am located out of Utah and would be happy to arrange shipping. Please text with any questions!! I'd also recommend looking at Nomadic Vans website for similar vans if you're interested, or to see in more detail the kind of services they provide on their vans.
Above all I'm looking for someone to take care of my baby! This pains me to do but it's time, and I hope to buy one back from the boys at Nomadic Vans again someday. I can promise you one thing - there is not a better running Delica for sale!
