1996 Land Rover Defender 110

This 1996 Land Rover Defender 110 is a left-hand-drive five-door wagon that received refurbishment work in Kenya before it was imported to the US in 2022. It has been refinished in green and fitted with a four-speed automatic transmission that routes power to all four wheels through a dual-range transfer case and a locking center differential. Power is from a 2.5-liter 300Tdi turbodiesel inline-four and equipment includes a roof rack and ladder, a pop-up roof hatch, a front brush guard, 16 five-spoke alloy wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, beige canvas seat covers, Philips speakers, and inward-facing rear bench seats.

The truck has been repainted green and features a roof rack that can be accessed via a rear ladder or a pop-up hatch in the white roof. Other details include a front brush guard, Hella driving lights, LED headlights, black wheel arch flares, tubular side steps, alpine windows, rear mud flaps, and a folding rear step. The hood, roof, and wheel arch flares were repainted in September 2024.

The 16 five-spoke alloy wheels were mounted with 235/85 Toyo Open Country A/T III tires, and a spare is affixed to a swing-away rear carrier. Braking is handled by discs at each corner.

The front bucket seats and split-folding second-row bench wear beige canvas covers, and the inward-facing rear bench seats are trimmed in tan fabric. The ignition switch was replaced in 2023. Appointments include a cabin heater, a center console, and Philips speakers.

The two-spoke steering wheel fronts a 150-km/h speedometer, an analog clock, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 181k kilometers (~112k miles).

The 2.5-liter 300Tdi turbodiesel inline-four was factory rated at 111 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque.
