1996 LAND ROVER DEFENDER 90 CLEAN TITLE IN HAND This 1996 Land Rover Defender 90 was fitted with a 4.0-liter V8 and a four-speed automatic transmission sourced from a Discovery II model in addition to a replacement frame as part of a refurbishment completed under previous ownership in Europe. It was acquired by the seller following importation to the US in 2021 and was subsequently repainted black and outfitted with power-adjustable, heated, and ventilated front seats upholstered in black leather. Further work under current ownership has involved lining the cabin with sound-deadening material, repairing the electrical system, fabricating a custom air intake, and installing a Tornado Systems ECU as well as replacing the head gasket and machining the cylinder heads. The truck rides on a lifted suspension along with black-finished 16 wheels mounted with 35 Toyo tires, and additional equipment includes a roof rack, diamond-plate accents, LED auxiliary lights, tubular side steps, air conditioning, and a Pioneer touchscreen head unit. This modified Defender 90 is now offered with service records and a clean title Previously finished in green, the body was repainted in black, and a matte black vinyl wrap was applied to various panels in November 2023. Repairs to the bodywork were performed and other various components were refinished in gloss black at that time.
