1996 Chevrolet Corvette "Collector Edition" Rare LT-4 Red Motor Roadster! 1 of only 1381 total produced with 6-Speed Manual Transmission. The Collector Editions are all Sebring Silver Metallic Exterior with Silver perforated Leather Sport Seats with "Collector Edition" embroidered and a Black Convertible soft top. Special ZR-1 Style 17" 5-Spoke Wheels. The LT4 engines had higher compression with Aluminum head design, Crane Roller Rocker Arms, revised camshaft profile and 8000 rpm tachometers, had durable torque converters with performance axle ratio. Preferred Equipment Group with: Electronic Air Conditioning, Dual Power Lumbar Sport Seats, Delco Bose Gold Stereo w/CD & Cassette, Power Windows & Power Door Locks, Special emblems and special black brake calipers with Silver Corvette lettering. The 1996 Corvette's onboard diagnostics were much more improved, sophisticated and complex. The '96 Corvette was the last of a generation regained the top spot of American cars.
