This striking 96 Z16 Grand Sport was a one-year only build from Chevrolet, totaling just 1,000 units produced. In a special color of Admiral Blue designated just for the Grand Sports, the car was adored with red fender stripes, a white racing stripe, rear wheel-well flares to hold the massive 315/35 series tires on custom black aluminum wheels, and the more powerful 330 horsepower LT4 engine option. This car was build sequence number 949 of 1,000 and it has been perfectly preserved and is in like-new showroom condition. The Torch Red leather interior is a rare selection and makes this Grand Sport only 1 of 2 in its configuration. Loaded with factory and optional features like the performance handling package, selective real-time damping, electronic air conditioning, six-way power seat, and the Delco/Bose music system to name a few. It has had only 1,210 miles put on it over the last 28 years and even still retains its new car smell! The Grand Sport received the Top Flight Award by the National Corvette Restorers Society and is also in the official Grand Sport Registry . The Corvette rides on a set of 17.5 black five-spoke painted wheels with Goodyear tires.
