Externally, this Hilux is finished in a fan favorite color code, 1A5 Desert Dune Metallic. The interior of this example features a rare set of factory optioned Recaro Front and Rear seats. The Recaros where an expensive factory upgrade in the KZN185 and the high cost is likely why we see so few examples optioned with these seats. Aside from the enhanced visual appeal the Recaros offer fantastic bolster to passengers and far greater comfort on bumpy trails and off road excursions. Other factory features include power door locks, power adjusting and folding mirrors, power windows, tilt steering wheel, cold A/C, hot heat, power sunroof, bumper mounted fog lights, roof mounted digital compass, thermometer, altimeter, and barometer, electronic dampening suspension, and idle up control.

As mentioned earlier, this Hilux Surf came equipped with the 1KZ-TE 3.0L Turbo Diesel motor, which was never offered in the US. These motors are incredibly robust and efficient 4 cylinders that provide plenty of HP and torque for whatever theyre put up against. This motor is paired to a 4 speed automatic transmission, that can transmit power to the rear wheels, or all 4 with the simple click of a button. This example is also equipped with a High and Low Selectable mode transfer case to further enhance the Hiluxs abilities on, or off road.
