Cruisin Classics is proud to present this 1995 Chevrolet C1500. This OBS truck underwent a substantial refurbishment over the past several years with over $23K spent. Paint and body-work made up $7K of the bill, but it was definitely money well spent. The Blue Jeans Metallic paint is exceptionally nice and deep with a great sparkle in the sunlight. The previous owner told us that it has new door skins, rockers, corner-caps, and tailgate. They also said that no bondo was used, all rusted parts were replaced, and the corner-caps were welded into place. Looking down the smooth laser-straight sides, its apparent that whoever did the body-work was a pro. The front of the truck has a great look with color-keyed front bumper and grill with a chrome bowtie emblem at the center and a new black chin spoiler at the bottom. That one bowtie is the only emblem on the truck all other external badging and identification stickers or emblems have been removed creating a very clean look. As you walk around the truck youll notice dual black side mirrors, clear window glass, bright lenses, a third brake light, a short fleetside bed, a body-color rear roll pan, and 5-spoke chrome Riddler wheels wrapped in Firestone low-profile tires. When you lift the hood, a courtesy light illuminates the clean and tidy engine bay that is home to a mildly built 383 Stroker V-8 based on a 5.7 liter Vortec engine. The black block is topped with an aluminum intake, a new 650cfm Edelbrock carburetor, a finned air cleaner, and black valve covers. Other items of note under the hood include MSD ignition, power steering, power brakes (disc/drum), A/C, and a newer battery. The 383 is mated to a 4L60E automatic 4-speed overdrive transmission. The transmission is tuned with a TCI Automotive EZ-TCU transmission controller (in the glovebox) and it puts down power through a 10-bolt rear with a Powertrax Lock-Right Locker. Exhaust flows through headers, Flowmaster mufflers, and out of chrome tips in the rear to create a really nice rumble. When you open the drivers door it is evident that the interior received a similar amount of attention as the rest of the truck during the refurbishment. The recovered blue vinyl bench seat is comfortable and looks like new. The door panels are in excellent condition with armrests and crank windows. The cloth headliner is new and tight and the blue carpet is in great condition with no stains. The driver has an airbag-equipped leather-wrapped steering wheel on a tilt column with cruise control and intermittent wipers. The crack-free dash houses working gauges, climate controls that pump out cold AC and hot heat, the original factory AM/FM/Cassette stereo, and a glovebox that contains the original owners manual. In the bed is a car cover, a set of rubber floormats, and a tote containing extra paint, parts, and materials. We also have a folder with manuals for many of the newer parts and an itemized spreadsheet showing all the individual costs to bring this truck to the level that its at today.
