If you're a fan of vintage Japanese cars, be sure to check out Nissan's online heritage site. There are tons of vintage Nissan pics and specs going all the way back to the 1920s. Each featured car or truck has relevant specs and a little "detail" tab that gives some background on that specific car.
The Volkswagen Kombi van reached iconic status, with even a school lunch box fashioned in its image. During those early years, the Volkswagen Microbus morphed into various forms. From a cargo carrier with no windows behind the driver's seat to a windowed passenger van with three rows of seats, the possibilities seemed endless.

The second generation of the Mitsubishi Pajero debuted in 1992 and production lasted until 1999. Notable for drawing a balance between tough and capable but also luxurious to drive the second gen Pajero has remained a popular choice for the past 3 decades. This particular example will catch the attention for any Pajero enthusiasts out there. Equipped with an aftermarket bull bar, aftermarket white wheels and the stunning two tone color combination make this an eye catching rig.
The second generation of The Mitsubishi Pajero also saw the introduction of Super Select 4WD (SS4), Multi-Mode ABS and electronic shock absorbers which were firsts on Japanese four wheel drives. SS4 was ground breaking in the sense that it combined the advantages of part-time and full-time four-wheel drive with four available options: 2H (high-range RWD), 4H (high-range full-time 4WD), 4HLc (high range 4WD with locked center differential) and 4LLc (low-range 4WD with locked center differential). Another advantage of this second generation system is that it gave the driver the ability to switch between two-wheel drive and full-time four-wheel drive at speeds up to 80 km/h.
Additional features include factory rainguards, factory side steps, full sized spare mounted on the rear hatch door, electric windows, electric mirrors, electric sunroof , climate control and an aftermarket roof access ladder. This particular example is a 5 seater with a huge cargo area for storage. The side hinged rear door swings outward and provides a huge loading area. The Pajero produces ample low end torque making these a fantastic rig for towing. The selectable 4wd allows you to switch between 2wd and 4wd to maximize fuel economy.
Widely considered to offer the most bang for your buck when compared to other 90s Japanese SUVs, the turbo diesel powered Mitsubishi Pajero is a consistent feature in our inventory. Relatively inexpensive cost of ownership, turbo diesel, 4wd, iconic body styling and chock full of power features.
