Classic Car Overview

Whether you are a Mercedes vintage enthusiast or someone looking for a stylish daily driver, here is a 1994 Mercedes-Benz E320 Wagon (S124) for sale with clean vehicle history The Last of the Great "Brick" Wagons.
Asking price: $10,700
Mileage: 162,684
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Before the age of plastic cladding and complicated electronics, there was the W124. Praised by engineers as "the last real Mercedes-Benz," this 1994 E320 wagon (S124) represents the pinnacle of the brand's over-engineered era. This is a low-slung, pillarless hardtop wagon with a cult following and for good reason. This wagon was originally sold in Escondido California at Escondido Motors Ltd. Ever since, it has always been in Southern California all its life.
Body: The body presents as exceptionally straight and solid, with no rust or major scratches. There is a dent you will find on the sunroof. Its hardly visible but its there. I dont know the background of how the dent happened. Dent was already there when I acquired it. Therefore, I am not sure whether sunroof open and closes as I have not attempted to fix it. Continuing on, all panel gaps are uniformly narrow and consistent. The original white paint retains deep gloss and is free from fading, peeling, or significant swirling. In short, the body looks nearly new from 10 feet, and upon close inspection reveals only minimal signs of age (e.g., a couple of tiny rock chips or faint scratches) far better than most 30-year-old vehicles. Jack points, rocker panels, and lower door seams show no bubbling or rust. Wheel wells clean, with original undercoating largely intact.
Engine: 3.2L M104 Inline-6 Fires right up, runs smooth, torquey, and bulletproof. No M103 head gasket worries here; this is the later multi-valve beast. Brand new genuine Mercedes parts were used to replace all: sparkplugs, ignition coils, valve cover gasket kit, air filter, oil filter.
Transmission: 4-speed automatic with crisp shifts.
Suspension: Self-leveling rear suspension (SLS) recently serviced with new genuine accumulators. SLS oil reservoir flushed and replaced with Hydraulikol lubricant. However, rear shocks eventually will need replacementstraightforward job for a DIYer. Front suspension is solid, with brand new Bilstein shock absorbers, genuine shock mounts, bump stops. Wagon has 4 new set of tires on. Sale will include front and rear pads (genuine). Havent install them yet as current pads are still very good.
No signs of any leaking fluids.
Interior: The cabin is clean, intact, and fully functional, with no major wear, stains, rips, or odors. Lovely gray leather seats, genuine wood trim, headliner and soft-touch plastics have aged gracefully, showing only light signs of use consistent with a well-maintained 30-year-old vehicle. Everything feels solid, quiet, and free of squeaks or rattles. Front power seats operate smoothly in all directions, headrests and seatback adjustments functional. Rear bench and fold-flat cargo seats show minimal use; seatback release mechanisms work easily. Dash top is flat, uncracked, and non-sticky (no UV damage or melting). Gauges are clear, needles bright, odometer/trip computer functional (no missing pixels on digital display). All warning lights and vents present, operate correctly, and feel solid when pressed. Climate control system blows hot/cold as selected, fan speeds quiet and effective. Alpine radio player works, though some speaker may need replacement.
Power antenna doesnt raise and lower. Cruise controls not working. Rear right passenger window doesnt raise and lower. All interior lights (dome, map, cargo, footwell) functional.
This wagon has presence. The W124 wagons are becoming rare and prices are rising. This is a Blue Chip classic you can drive every day.
Please, no scammers or tire-kickers.
