This is ECD Auto Design s Project OG, a fully reimagined Defender 110 built with the kind of hardware that completely changes the driving experience while retaining the unmistakable character of the original Defender.
At the center of the build is an LT4 supercharged V8, backed by ECD Air Ride suspension and Brembo brakes. The combination gives this truck serious modern performance while maintaining the presence and utility that makes a classic Defender so desirable.
The exterior is finished in Causeway Gray Gloss and sits on 18-inch Kahn 1983 wheels wrapped in Nitto Ridge Grappler all-terrain tires, giving it an aggressive but still properly classic appearance.
Inside, ECD continued the full custom treatment with a Puma-style dashboard wrapped in leather, MOMO Gotham steering wheel, Autocross Gray instrumentation, and a touchscreen audio system with Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth and satellite radio.
This isn t simply a restored Defender. It s a purpose-built ECD restomod combining classic British styling with supercharged V8 power, modern suspension, upgraded brakes and a completely reworked interior.
One of the coolest Defender 110 builds out there LT4 power, the right stance, the right colors, and the pedigree of a full ECD build.
