Classic Car Overview

When the Thunderbird Super Coupe debuted for 1989, it let the world know that Ford was really serious about building a sporty luxury coupe. With clean yet distinctive styling, a powerful supercharged V6, a five-speed stick (automatic was optional) and an athletic chassis, this entertaining T-bird had it all.

Under the hood is that supercharged 3.8-liter V6 that cranks out an impressive for the time 230 horsepower and 330 pound-feet of torque. Paired with the 5-speed manual gearbox, it provides plenty of gusto whether pulling away from a stoplight, passing highway laggards or jetting up an on-ramp.

Out on the road, this grand touring coupe is surprisingly fun in everyday driving, thanks to that spirited acceleration, the manual gearbox and athletic handling chops.

Also sporting a clean Carfax and low mileage, this Thunderbird SC represents a lot of bang for the buck, and we dont expect it to last long!
