Classic Car Overview
I've had this car for about a decade now, and all I can say is great things about the experiences I've had with it.
Lots of TLC has gone into the car and to be honest I prefer driving it over my 2019 Toyota Highlander. The handling is amazing and the acceleration for being a wagon is impressive. Transmission was rebuilt by a reputable shop and I have driven it at least 1000 miles since with thorough testing in various conditions especially canyons.
It's a rare BMW E34 (M50TU Engine)1994' 525 I Touring in Oxford Green with no rust, clean title, and zero accidents (with exception to minor scuffs, dings, and a minor rear bumper fender bender I repaired myself) . . .
Originally sold in San Diego to the great grandson of Kelloggs Cereal founder, then sold to a Marine when they past away by their son, then I purchased it. The Car has never lived outside of California.
Nearly everything works: all windows, AC works but recommend a rehaul (I never use it) Heater works great, wipers, all lights recently replaced, front seats actuate/ recline, rear hatch opens and lifts though window only opens but needs shocks to be replaced (which I have).
Rebuilt most of the engine and all of the suspension (part replacement list in images with dates and mileage). Everything has receipts/invoices and is mainly OEM. Completed to spec. W/ BMW specifications.
I uploaded a good amount of images and video (will upload more in detail), Carfax Report, and Repair list of everything I've done on the car with receipts/ invoices (will upload soon). Note: most of the parts I replaced were during the pandemic as I was planning to restore the car.
I passed smog this year, will have to take another test upon selling the car due to California Law; I expect it to pass though the test cost 200$ the new buyer will be responsible for it if it passes, if not it doesnt i will pay and Ill get it to pass. The catalytic converter is getting old so its up to the new buyer to want to replace it (cost is about 1000$).
2 major's that aren't operable:
1. Moonroof (now sealed and won't leak).
2. Stereo (original system) figured new buyer can get what they want as I used a battery operated Bluetooth system myself.
Other:
1. The Hood and Roof and rear bumper have been wet sanded down to 1000 grit and covered with top grade vinyl wrapping (by a local tech) as seen in the images, almost a perfect color match: this was done in March of this year: 2026.
2. The driver seat had a big tear in it that I fixed (myself) as best as I could without spending too much on it. Purchased a new shearling seat cover for it in April of 2026.
3. Since the car is not being driven much the oil pan gasket needs to be replaced; super minor drip but the more it drives the gasket will expand and you can get way with not replacing it; though I recommend replacing it next oil change, cost should be 300-400$ parts and labor with oils change (I have a chart in the images of the oil change log with best oil and specs for this as well).
Some parts recently replaced not on Rebuild/Repair List (list in image slide):
1. Locking mechanism for glove compartment (BMW): $50
2. New Battery in 2026 (Duralast from AutoZone): 230$
3. Sherling Driver Side Seat Cover: $200
Vehicle also comes with extra parts worth around $500
Accepting offers, looking to sell by end of summer-contact me if you have any questions.
Thanks!
