1993 Land Rover Defender 110

Offered for sale is a 1993 Land Rover Defender 110 powered by a V8 engine, and an upgraded R380 5 speed transmission. This Defender 110 is turn key ready for daily driving and any adventure you wish to take on! In 2020, The Defender was stripped down to the chassis, and the frame was sand blasted, powder coated, and painted. At this time, new suspension components, and a new braking system was installed on this Defender at this time as well. Power comes from a V8 engine, that has overhauled in 2020, and maintenance was performed on the engine at this time as well as a rebuild of the engine. The engine received a complete overhaul consisting of new pistons, cylinder head, head gasket, valves, seals, water pump, oil pan, alternator, AC assembly, timing belt, fuel pump, and more. The carburetor has been upgraded to an Edelbrock carburetor, which is a great carburetor to help the Defender start very easily. The V8 engine has plenty of power. The transmission has been upgraded to a newer R380 transmission, which is a major upgrade over the OEM transmission. This transmission provides smoother shifting, longer 5th gears, and is a lot more durable than the OEM transmission. New wheels and tires were also installed at this time.

The Defender's body was taken apart, and new body panels, doors, and bulkhead were ordered at this time as well. The reason for this, is to ensure a higher quality paint job, and to get rid of any rust that was present on the body panels as well. The hood was replaced with a Puma style hood, which gives a much more aggressive and modern look. A Kahn design wide body kit was installed at this time as well, which gives a much more modern, aggressive, and updated look. LED lighting was installed, and the Defender was repainted in one of the most iconic colors, British Racing Green. The color appears very dark and slick when the truck is in the shade, cloudy weather. In direct sunlight, the Defender appears to have a much brighter shade, flakes in the paint, and looks much more vivid.

The interior has been fitted with an upgraded heater to provide a more toasty cabin, an aftermarket AC system was installed, and power windows and power locks were installed along with a back up camera. All of these modern creature comforts provide a much more comfortable daily driving experience. The interior was fitted with sound deadening material to provide a more quiet cabin as well, and to prevent road noise. The interior was fitted with very classic black suede upholstery. The dashboard has been replaced with a custom digital dashboard, which gives it a much more modern and updated look as well.
