Classic Car Overview

1993 Dodge Stealth Coupe For consignment, a very original, 1 owner, garage kept sports car. Possessing technology within that would make the grade in cars of an era say for instance 2016. This technologically advanced machine has only logged a title verified 120,287 miles. It has original paint, a comfortable interior, and of course all that motoring technology to go with it. Exterior Original factory Dark Silver Metallic drapes this aerodynamic car and is seen throughout the exterior with the exception of the lower body circling wide black trim strip. A few chip off are noted along with some scuffs, as well as a few dings, but certainly no rust. A rounded nose molds the neoprene bumper which sports running lights, some aero fins, and side intake air venting. Just above, the pop up headlights were ahead of their time and present and hide under body matching covers. A coke bottle design with wider quarters than the doors all gaps are well minded. At the tail end of the hood is more faux intake venting, and on the back deck is a permanently mounted fixed spoiler. On top is all steel and all of the exterior glass is scratch free and in good condition and is all surrounded by black trimmings. 15-inch multi-spoke American Racing wheels are wrapped in 215/60R15s on all 4 corners. Interior Racetrack inspired curves make up the charcoal black molded plastic door panels which house the window and lock toggles and a large speaker. A hobnail style black panel is inserted just below the sill and is a hint of what youll see in the interior. Speaking of which, black hobnail style cloth wraps the two overstuffed front buckets which show a bevy of manual adjustments for both seats so you can get it just right baby bear. Even with the higher mileage we note very little wear or compression of the seat material, a testament to our consignors loving care. For the rear a tubbed 2 plus 2 rear bench is in back and does not afford the most room, but is comfy to sit in. An aftermarket Sony AM/FM/CD stereo resides in the center stack along with the heater/AC controls and a trio of supporting engine monitor gauges. An airbag equipped steering wheel is in front of the driver and just beyond the wheel under an arched eyebrow is the main instrument cluster with the factory tachometer. Riding the hump is a black plastic console holding a worn leather shift boot and worn knob along with a padded armrest and coin holder. Soiled carpeted mats have done their job protecting the gray carpeting which is seen on the floors and an ivory broadcloth headliner with light soiling and sagging hangs above. Drivetrain A 3.0 Liter 12 valve EFI 6 cylinder engine lies under the hood and is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission allowing this car to be a rocket ship! On the axle, power pulses through a 4.153 front driven final drive. Undercarriage A nice gray and black patina covers all surfaces underneath. Just a hint or two of some surface rust, but not on structural parts. Fairly simple under here as it has been left mostly blank to aid in the aero package. For handling we see MacPherson struts front and rear along with power disc brakes on all 4 corners harness all that power and bring it to a fast stop. Drive-Ability This all working, nicely preserved early Japanese techno car fired right up and worked like a charm. Fast acceleration, great handling, and smooth shifting. Braking was bias free on the panic stop test. All was very comfortable and exhibited a nice ergonomic design for this driver. While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase. A fairly rare one owner example that has not been torn up by a person from a younger generation, rocket ship. Original paint, engine, and interior. Just press the gas and add a smile to your face in reaction to that press!
