Classic Car Overview

In these days of plush $75,000 crew cab pickups with their leather interiors and heated seats, an old-school, standard cab pickup truck is a rare sight. These back-to-basics pickups have become popular lately, both as work trucks and collectors items.

Here we have a 1993 Chevy C1500 standard cab, 2-wheel-drive pickup in the rare base Work Truck (W/T) trim level. This truck has just 40,131 miles on it and must be seen and driven to be believed.

The body is straight as an arrow and the underside is rock solid. We just had a full detailing done, inside and out, so it looks fantastic. The color-matched top provides security and protection from the elements for whatever you want to transport in the bed, which features a bed liner. A brand new set of white-lettered tires add a bit of flair to the workhorse pickup. Theres also a tow hitch to further expand the trucks work capabilities.

Under the hood is the stout 4.3 Liter V6 that sends the power to the rear wheels via a 5-Speed manual transmission. That powertrain provides peppy performance along with good fuel economy, and is fun to drive with the manual gearbox.

The trucks interior is simply amazing. The seats were covered since new and we just took those covers off to reveal the mint cloth upholstery underneath. The dash boasts full instruments (minus a tach) as well as the original and unique AM/FM/Cassette sound system.

Out on the road, the C1500 W/T runs and drives great. With just 40k miles on the odometer, its just broken in. Note that it has just been inspected and comes with a 20-day plate.
