The Chevrolet Corvette (C4) is the fourth generation of the Corvette sports car, produced by American automobile manufacturer Chevrolet from 1983 until 1996. The 1993 40th Anniversary package was available on all models. It included Ruby Red metallic paint and Ruby Red leather sport seats, along with Ruby Red Center Caps on the wheels, special trim and 40th anniversary side emblems. 6,749 were sold. The cabin features power-adjustable sport bucket seats trimmed in Ruby Red leather with 40th Anniversary logos embroidered on the headrests as well as matching door panel inserts and carpets. Amenities include a Delco-Bose Gold Series AM/FM/CD/cassette stereo, automatic climate control, a digital clock, and cruise control. The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a central digital speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, coolant temperature, and voltage. The digital odometer indicates 44k miles. The car is finished in 40th Anniversary-exclusive Ruby Red Metallic (68) and features a removable tinted-glass roof panel, 40th Anniversary fender badging, pop-up headlights, integrated fog lights, a Corvette-branded front plate cover, splash guards, quad taillights, and dual polished exhaust outlets. Polished 17 sawblade alloy wheels are mounted with a mixture of Continental and Kumho tires that show date codes from 2007 and 2021. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel ventilated discs with ABS. The 5.7-liter LT1 V8 features multi-port fuel injection and was factory rated at 300 horsepower and 340 lb.-ft of torque.
