Vehicle Overview
Single owner 1992 Ford Mustang LX in excellent condition and garage kept since day one. Unfortunately the car has spent more time over the years not running than it has running and I am ready to move on to my next project car. The current engine combo has only 10 or so miles (all local and low rpm) since assembled. The parts were sourced in 2010 by a local engine builder that passed away. After retrieving the in progress work from that shop, the engine was eventually assembled at Performance Machine in Hutto, TX in 2012. The car was reassembled over the next year or so and was unable to be restarted. It then had sat covered in my garage for another 7 years before being towed over to Pro Performance in Austin TX to get running again. Turns out that half of the injectors that were purchased new were not working. The car was returned running again in 2021 and has been started about once a month. It only has been driven on neighborhood streets and to a local gas station. At some point since being professionally assembled by Performance Machine and sending the car to Pro Performance there was a small amount of milky mix in the oil. Pro performance did replace the rear main seal and changed the oil. Since I do not want to spend any more time or money to go thru the block, my loss is your gain. Please give this excellent street machine a new home with its 40k plus value of aftermarket parts currently installed on the car.
