Overview & Ownership History
Up for sale is an original, unmodified 9th-generation "OBS" Ford F-150 featuring its factory drivetrain and original white paint. The truck has spent its life in Georgia, heavily contributing to its solid condition. It was meticulously cared for by its original owner from 1992 until 2025, passed briefly to his neighbor last year, and then came into my possession three months ago. I am selling the truck strictly due to an upcoming relocation and cannot take it with me.
Documentation & Maintenance
The standout feature of this truck is its exceptional documentation. Included in the sale is the complete, handwritten maintenance logbook tracking the vehicle's entire history continuously from 10,000 miles to 201k miles. Routine maintenance (oil changes, air filters, belts, and fluid flushes) was religiously performed at strict 3,000 to 5,000-mile intervals.
Because of this continuous preventative care, all major milestone mechanical wear items have already been addressed. Notable entries and receipts from the logbook include:
* Transmission Rebuild: Fully overhauled and rebuilt at 190,441 miles.
* Exhaust System: Replaced at 201,500 miles.
* Suspension Upgrades: Skyjacker shocks, front springs, and a leveling kit installed at 194,325 miles.
* Distributor Assembly: Brand-new distributor installed at 201,500 miles
* Power Steering System: New power steering pump, pulley, and lines installed at 201,500 miles.
* Starter & Alternator: Starter motor and starter relay system replaced at 178,188 miles; Alternator replaced at 169,215 miles.
Recent Updates (Completed Under My Ownership)
* Complete A/C System Overhaul: Entire system replaced new; blows ice cold.
* Tires: Brand-new BFGoodrich KO3 all-terrain tires mounted on factory wheels.
* Bed Protection: Freshly applied, professional spray-in bed liner
Current Condition Details
* The Good: The 4x4 system engages and functions exactly as it should. Both factory fuel tanks are fully operational and the selector switch transitions between them smoothly. The truck starts immediately, runs smooth.
* The Bad: There is light surface rust typical for an original 1992 Georgia truck, but the frame, floors, and body panels remain rock solid overall. There is a cosmetic dent and scratch located near the front gas tank. One of the brand-new tires has a very slow leak (takes a couple of weeks to lose noticeable pressure), which likely just requires a standard bead reseal or valve stem adjustment at a tire shop.
High-Value Extras Included in Sale
The truck comes with a complete support package for the next owner:
1. Full binders of physical service receipts and the lifetime handwritten logbook.
2. Original Factory Ford Service Manual Set (Revised Editions): Includes the massive Body/Chassis/Electricalmanual, Engine manual, and Electrical & Vacuum Troubleshooting Manual. These are the official, highly detailed dealership mechanic binders.
3. An OBD1 Code Reader specific to Fords 90s diagnostic systems.
