Building upon the legendary mid-engine Ferrari Testarossa, the 512 TR was a thoroughly modernized and revised version. The 4.9L flat-12 engine received a new Bosch ECU, air intake system, exhaust system, valves, and Nikasil cylinder liners. The result was a much broader torque curve and peak output at 428HP. In addition, the clutch and shifter system were improved for easier shifting and better durability. The interior and exterior were also revamped for better fit and finish and aerodynamics. The characteristic low, wide styling and spirit of the Testarossa remained, and make for one of the most memorable super cars of all time!
