If you're a fan of vintage Japanese cars, be sure to check out Nissan's online heritage site. There are tons of vintage Nissan pics and specs going all the way back to the 1920s. Each featured car or truck has relevant specs and a little "detail" tab that gives some background on that specific car.
The Volkswagen Kombi van reached iconic status, with even a school lunch box fashioned in its image. During those early years, the Volkswagen Microbus morphed into various forms. From a cargo carrier with no windows behind the driver's seat to a windowed passenger van with three rows of seats, the possibilities seemed endless.

The Black pearl paint is very nice all around. Upon close inspection a few flaws will be discovered to be expected with age. A few minor scratches are noticeable up close on the trunk deck lid. All VIN Tag ID's are in place on every body panel and match accordingly.
The interior shows very well with nice deep burl wood trim, an original dashboard without any sun damage or cracks, leather with nice patina that is soft and supple and carpet throughout in good condition. The gauges all work properly and needles show bright orange. The headliner is clean and does not show wear or sagging. The original first-aid kit is complete.
These coupes near the end of the SEC run are simply no nonsense elegant muscle car style. Hit the throttle and accelerate hard off the line with wow factor torque. The motor pulls strong and hard and the ride quality is very good. Nice supple suspension and tight steering. About as good as it gets for Mercedes build quality and engineering. This young classic certainly has no disappointments.
Engine bay is clean and trunk shows excellent carpet.
