Classic Car Overview
The truck is an automatic and drives wonderfully. Odometer is at 22,000 and I am unsure if it has rolled over once or twice. Judging by the condition and how easy parts came off it I would venture to say its only a 122k truck versus 222k.
Vehicle body is totally rust and rot free. The frame is immaculate and undercoated with fluid film. Like most vehicles this age there are some spots of surface rust here and there. The hood and roof and visor would need to be painted to match the truck.
I bought the truck from Washington state and did a ton of work to it. I have the Washington title in hand to prove the VIN as I did not need it to register in New Hampshire with its age.
The only things that do not work are the AC and power windows. I have the motors for the windows I just have not had time to make the repair. Recently, the ignition rod inside the steering column that the key cylinder turns broke. So to start the truck you just need to slide the switch on the ignition switch under the dash or use the push button start panel I wired up as a backup as the ignition rods and switches are known to fail on these older square bodies. Other than these items everything else works wonderfully.
Work done:
- Timing chain, water pump, and transmission service (previous owner)
- Radiator
- Fluid changes
- New tires
- Larger bore throttle body
- Air Intake
- Hedman Headers
- Side exit exhaust with dual Jones glasspacks
- MSD 6 Ignition Box setup (has an adapter so can disconnect and run stock ignition anytime.)
- Battery terminals
- Key cylinder
- Ignition switch
- Shocks
- Spray in bed liner
- Aftermarket Auxiliary gauges
- CB radio
- Fire extinguisher (Not because there's a hazard it's something I do to every vehicle I own)
- All tune up items
- Truck came with an auxiliary cooler for the oil, transmission, and power steering.
- Headlight switch
- Brought back the original paint mostly by hand, multi day job and came out great minus the hood and roof as seen in pictures.
Asking $12,000 or best offer. Impossible to find these in clean condition in New England. No trades.
