1991 - 75th Annual Indianapolis 500 was paced by a Dodge Viper. There were also cars needed for the 500 used in parades, events, and the open ceremony. Fifty identical Shadow ES convertibles with sequential VINs were ordered for only purpose. This is the 36th car made. At the track this was #42 and assigned to the Indianapolis 500 Festival Queen.

The queen rode in this car, and after the race, her father, a car dealer in Indiana, wanted the car. He bought it, and in their possession most of its life until late 2022.
