In 91 this was a rare color option with only about 800ish produced for the year! The fabric top is in great condition and works like it is brand new. Moving to the interior, it is finished it a matching blue with a black dashboard and console. The dash is equipped with digital gauges to show the driver oil pressure, coolant temperature, fuel range, speed and RPMs. All of these gauges are customizable using switches located to the right of the steering wheel to display what information the driver wants to see. The primary design emphasis at launch was therefore focused on handling and braking, with an all-independent light-weight suspension and wheels and all new brakes with aluminum calipers. The C4 did not use separate body-on-frame construction like its predecessors. Instead, it used what GM termed a uniframe, which consisted of a traditional perimeter frame, with the door posts, windshield frame, halo U-shaped frame overhead behind the seats and the rear portion of the floor pan integrated into one welded assembly. Under the hood is a 5.7L V8 engine paired to a 4-speed automatic transmission which produces around 250HP, still impressive for a car this light. Other features this Corvette has are a leather wrapped steering wheel, dual rear lockable storage compartments, ABS, 4-wheel power disc brakes, Delco AM/FM radio, and air conditioning. This Corvette was purchased new locally in the Buffalo area and has stayed here its entire life.
