Vehicle Overview

Up for sale is my 1991 Acura NSX. The is an amazing example of an iconic 90s JDM car. The car is in fantastic condition! This NSX is mostly factory aside from a few upgrades, such as the Kenwood Bluetooth radio that is modified to look factory, Exedy clutch, and NS Wheels. I do have the factory aluminum wheels which will be included in the sale. The car has the original motor and transmission, which received regular maintenance to keep it performing in top shape. The paint is also original, which is in great condition. There is nothing wrong with this car currently, with a slew of maintenance, including timing belt and water pump, that was recently performed. The car drives very smooth, the engine runs strong with a smooth power delivery all the way to the 8k rev limit. The gear box is buttery smooth, and the AC is ice cold.

I have a lot of history with this car! I am technically the 4th owner; I purchased the car from my dad in 2021 as his health declined as a result of advanced stage metastatic prostate cancer. My dad purchased this car in 2010. The second owner who was a family friend that purchased the car with 3575 miles on it, in 1991 from a dealership in Georgia, I have this original receipt. The car lived its life in Ohio with the second owner, who only put 18K miles on the car in the 19 years of ownership. The car was always serviced at an Acura dealership while he owned the car. I have most receipts. The car was stored in a heated garage, with the factory NSX car cover (I have two NSX car covers that will be included), it was transported to Florida in 2012. It has always been stored indoors. We are true car people! I am a road course instructor with Hooked on Driving and have really enjoyed this car over the years on the street. The car received meticulous care while under our ownership. The NSX was my dad's pride and joy, and I continued his passion after he passed. We have always used high quality parts and fluids in the car. While we owned the car, most of the wrenching and maintenance was performed by us in our in-house shop.

The only issues are a few paint blemishes on the passenger b-pillar, paint chips on the mirrors, small dent on the passenger fender, see photos, and the ABS pump having the usual chirp noise on occasion.

Here is a list of most recent maintenance.

November 2024 - current mileage: Gates timing belt, OEM water pump, OEM center timing cover, NKG Spark Plugs, OEM camshaft seals, OE Timing belt tensioner, OE AC and accessory belts, Science of Speed camshaft plugs, Felpro valve cover seals, Mobil1 Synthetic oil with a STP oil filter, K&N filter, and new Everstart battery. Full detail inside and out, with a full paint correction, polish, and wax.

October 2022: 95,895mi: NS Wheels, Model 1501, 17 x 7.5 front and 18 x 8 rears. Wrapped in Delinte Thunder D7 tires, 215/45 R17 front and 245/40 R18 rear.

March 2021: 94,608mi: Clutch replaced with Exedy single disk, 6-puck, sprung disk and OE throw out bearing. New gear oil in transmission. Oil change and new filter. Alignment at Acura of Melbourne.

October 2020: 93,849mi: NSX Stereo mod by Williams Electronics. This is a Kenwood Bluetooth stereo that is modified to function with the factory stereo buttons and look stock.

March 2020: 93,354mi,: New tires. Kumho Escsta.

September 2016-July2017: We has issues with the AC and replaced many parts. We ended up replacing the evaporator, expansion valve, drier, and all seals throughout the system. At this time we converted the refrigerant to R134a.

August 2016: Drive interior door handle replaced.

May 2016: 79,999: new tires, Kumho Escsta.

December 2015: oil change with new filter

June 2015: brake pads replaced front and rear, Centric CE pads

I have receipts that date back to 1991.

Mechanical

The engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, cooling system, are all functioning properly without issues. There are no leaks or burning smells. The transmission shifts smoothly, and the clutch engages with ease, and no slippage. The engine runs strong and does not burn any oil. Oil changes were performed every 3k miles. The ABS pump does have the usual occasional chirp, but this does not affect the performance of the braking system. The tires are at 95% tread depth.

Exterior

The paint is original, which is in very good condition. There are a few blemishes on the passenger b-pillar, paint chips on the mirrors, small dent on the passenger fender. The wheels are in very good condition.

Interior

The interior is in fantastic condition, besides the driver seat which does have some ware. All buttons are working and functional.
