Powered by a Subaru 2.1L flat-four motor, power is routed to the rear wheels through an automatic transmission. With the turn of the key, the motor fires right up and quickly settles into a smooth idle. This Westy has been a California bus its entire life up until this year. Serviced and maintained routinely.

This example is finished in Bordeaux Red Metallic and with a gray roof. It rides on 17-inch Porsche 5-spoke wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot tires. The front bucket seats are upholstered in a gray cloth which is color coordinated with the door panels and carpets. Other amenities include an aftermarket Pioneer radio, Westfalia pop-up sleeper roof, two burner stove, sink, outlets, and plenty of latchable storage compartments.

The model you see here is a 1990 Vanagon Westfalia. Its one of the last iterations of the original Type 2 bus before it evolved into the Eurovan. The Westfalia was a bespoke model that focused on the art of camping. This VW has been taken care of and is ready for a weekend out camping.
