Classic Car Overview
To Be OFFERED AT AUCTION at RM Sothebys Sealed - Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer - DLS Turbo event, 18 - 25 March 2026.
$3,450,000 - $5,000,000 USD
Please note this lot has entered the UK on a temporary import bond, which must be cancelled either by exporting the lot outside of the UK on an approved Bill of Lading with supporting customs documentation or by paying the applicable VAT and import duties to have the lot remain in the UK.
Singers DLS Turbo Services were first shown to the public at the 2023 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Inspired by the victorious Porsche 934/5 endurance racers of the 1970s, the results brought together the remarkable engine first developed through DLS services with Singers expertise in turbocharging, combining the massive low-down torque of forced induction with the ability to rev to 9,000 rpm.
Like all Porsche 911s Reimagined by Singer, each DLS Turbo restoration begins life as a 964-generation Porsche 911, which is then sent to Singers facilities in the UK to be carefully disassembled and stripped back to the bare chassis. The monocoque is then carefully assessed, strengthened, and further prepared for the additional performance and power to come.
At its heart is the Type 964s M64 3.6-litre flat six-cylinder engine, now expanded to 3.8L and boasting four valves per cylinder, water-cooled cylinder heads, twin turbochargers with electronic wastegates and variable turbine geometry, and air to water intercooling. A further evolution of the engine designed for the DLS services, this turbocharged variant raises output to an astounding 710 bhp (SAE Net) and 750Nm of torque.
The sensational carbon fibre bodywork was painstakingly designed using computational fluid dynamics analysis, optimizing aerodynamic performance. It is with the bodywork where the personalization truly begins, and owners can choose between taking a track-focused direction, with larger rear wing and more aggressive front fascia, or a road-focused specification with a rear ducktail spoiler and revised front fascia. For ultimate freedom of choice, both setups could be specified, stored in a set of bespoke flight cases, enabling the owner to change the configuration of their car, as is the case with Sepang.
Offered here is The Sepang Commission ; one of just 99 DLS Turbo restorations. Its first owner, a collector who has commissioned multiple restorations with Singer, spared no expense in the pursuit of a car that epitomizes Singers motto of Everything is Important.
Finished in paint to sample Wolf Blue, The Sepang Commission features numerous visible carbon fibre options tinted dark blue to complement the Wolf Blue paintwork. The cars champagne anodized polished brightwork offers a touch of contrast and this finish is continued on the turbofan magnesium wheels, while the rear decklid badging is specified in solid brass.
Inside, The Sepang Commission is trimmed in Bone leather with further champagne anodized and polished brightwork with dark blue-tinted gloss carbon throughout to unify the cars overall appearance. Touring seats are specified with Bone Alcantara perforated seat centres, seat backs trimmed in soft Bone leather, and DLST embossed in the headrests. The outer section of the steering wheel is trimmed in Alcantara to match the bodywork with the inner steering wheel trimmed in bone leather.
The Sepang Commission has been outfitted with both the track- and road-focused rear decklid and front fascias, as well as an additional set of clear lens corner lights, allowing its new owner the freedom of choice to configure their new acquisition as required.
The Sepang Commission is presented fresh from restoration, with break-in mileage conducted by Singer Vehicle Design before delivery.
Unquestionably the wildest and most visually stunning variant of the type-964 Porsche 911 to be reimagined by Singer, the DLS Turbo Services are a spectacular showcase of what this fantastic company is capable of. As one of just 99 restorations, this represents a momentous opportunity to jump the queue and acquire one of the most hotly anticipated vehicles of recent times.
