Clean Japanese design. Imperfections include chin scrapes, bubbling and cracking around a wheel opening, and some curb rash. Interior More simplicity and freshness here with shades of blue that begin on door panels constructed of vinyl and cloth and holding the seat belt. Leather sport seats are inviting and show some patina on the drivers side, but are fully intact and the suggested 2+2 rear seats are deep and supportive with some tears in the upper seams. The lower half of the dash, side of center console, armrest, and door cards are lined with a blue knit material, something not seen in many cars. The side pods flanking the steering wheel control things like cruise control, lights, A/C, and wipers and all within a fingers length away. That leaves the center of the dash free of busy buttons and it holds only an AM/FM/CD player and Bose speaker. The shifter accompanies some switches in the center console and presents cleanly as does the plush blue carpet below it. This carpet goes on to cover the rear cargo area in the form of a fitted piece. Drivetrain Residing under the hood is a 3.0 liter DOHC V6 rated at 222 horsepower and backed by a Jatco RE3R01A 4-speed automatic transmission sending power, in true sports car style, to the rear axle, this one with 4.083 gears. Power disc brakes occupy each of the four wheels. The bay presents in clean, driver quality condition. Undercarriage Clean driver quality conditions also prevail underneath with plenty of surface rust, residual oil on the pan, a thick film on the transmission pan, and some road grime. The dual exhaust runs down the middle of the underside through stock style mufflers before exiting via twin tips on both sides. Macpherson strut suspension is utilized front and rear. Drive-Ability After driving a myriad of muscle cars, the cockpit of this car offers a relatively quiet respite but still provides an exciting experience. In true sports car fashion, the ride is more horizontal and the ergonomics are just right. Handling is excellent; the size and weight of the car keep it tossable but also planted.
