The Dodge Li'l Red Express set a standard on how to make a great performance truck. All Dodge Li'l Red Express trucks came from the factory painted in Bright Canyon Red in 1978 and Medium Canyon Red in 1979. Every Li'l Red Express was a regular cab Adventurer with a stepside bed.
Classic vintage Chevrolet pickup trucks are receiving growing interest among car enthusiasts. The most collectible muscle cars are numbers-matching survivors; the most sought-after vintage trucks are full custom builds.
Classic Car Overview
The odometer reads just under 70,000 km (5 digit odometer) but true mileage is unknown. The vehicle was imported legally in 2017 and has a clean title. It has been garage kept since I've owned it with limited mileage added in the past 4 months (less than 250 km)
I have roughly $20,000 of receipts for work completed on the vehicle in the last 3,000 km (Can be provided to interested parties).
I will be adding a few more pictures of the underside this weekend and can provide to interested parties.
Work completed since Aug 2017Reupholstered seats and headrests including driver's seat, passengers seat, rear bench, and 2 jump seats; New foam for the drivers seat and backrest; New foam for the passenger seat (backrest was fine); All interior metal seat parts have been powder coated to original MB 7167; New glove box; New rear (exterior) vents; refurbished pillar panels; Modest tint applied to all 5 windows (50% tint); New Front Runner (https://www.frontrunneroutfitters.com/en/us/) roof rack installed; Engine replaced (the engine is from a GD290 so there is a little more torque and top end power) more info below; Front driver and passenger side wheel bearing and hub replacement; Rear left and right hub replacement; Water pump & Thermostat w/gasket replaced; Cooling system flush; Clutch Master Cylinder replaced; Differential front and rear serviced and work well; Clutch and Brake system flush; Radiator cap replaced; Fuel line replaced; Glow plugs replaced; New Battery; New Drive belt; New Fuel Filter; Clean and flush radiator; Windshield washer pump replaced; Master cylinder rod replaced; New front rotor kit and front brake pads; Front right Axle replaced including new CV joint kit; New axle shaft seal; New Axel nut; New Brake pad pin.
Known Issues:Crack in front roof resulting in a small leak from rainwater resulting in slight discoloration of headliner; Stereo system has been removed (ready for a new install); Rear speakers have been removed; Front dash vinyl was cracked and subsequently removed leaving some holes in the metal dash. I personally like the metal look but haven't looked into the cost to patch the holes. A metal panel above the glove box is missing (I have been looking into a new part); No AC; Factory vehicle came with manual windows but the original owner replaced them with automatic windows. All windows are super smooth with the exception of the drivers window which is finicky. Small section of vinyl in the rear needs to be tacked down but is otherwise in good condition.
Engine Details:New engine was pulled out of a 290GD— OM602D29 2.9 L Diesel I5. (I can provide pics) All engine mounts are the same as the 250GD OM602 2.5 L Diesel I5 so replacement was simple. Stated mileage on the new engine is 56k kilometers.
Other Details:Vin: WDB46033817064550Exterior Paint: Anthracite Grey Metallic DB7172. - Interior (metal) color: MB 7167- Interior fabric: Gray Karo Seat Fabric (these look amazing). The door panel upholstery and headrests didn't need replacement.- Vehicle odometer reading: 69,398 kilometers. It is a 5 digit odometer so true mileage is unknown.- Service records are available ONLY since I took ownership in Aug 2017- Tires are older but have some life left in them. I don't intend on replacing them. - Believe the exterior has had a respray (original factory color)- Very little rust. I would say NO RUST but that's totally unrealistic.
