1990 Land Rover Defender 110

This is an exceptionally well-sorted and restored 1990 Land Rover Defender 110, brought to you by Defender Imports. This is a former military Defender (Ex-MOD) that was previously used by the Netherlands Armed Forces. After the truck arrived at our shop, we performed a 300-point bumper to bumper inspection, that included an additional 200 hours of restoration and service. The vehicle is mechanically sound and is ready for immediate use as a daily driver or dedicated trail rig. This build is focused on offroad capability, rugged aesthetic with purpose-built features, while maintaining the look and patina of a classic Ex-MOD. This is a clean and reliable daily driver with matching numbers. The vehicle is powered by a 3.5L Rover V8 engine with an Edelbrock upper manifold and FiTech electronic fuel injection. The engine is paired with an LT85 5-speed manual transmission and an LT230 transfer case with locking center differential. The engine cold starts without issue and with the addition of electronic fuel injection it runs smoother and performs better than ever before. The engine had 299,790 original kilometers (186,280 miles) upon arrival to the US. During the restoration of this truck, we replaced the speedometer so it now reads in MPH. The new odometer currently has 22 miles on it. The vehicle looks great, drives great and is ready for your next adventure.


Interior restoration and upgrades include: Dynamat sound deadening and Dynapad sound proofing material throughout the interior and doors; new rubber interior flooring, new Exmoor seats, Tuffy Security Products locking center console, new upper dash, new instrument binnacle and aluminum housing, FiTech EFI digital display on the dash and a MudUK switch panel with USB charging ports and Carling switches for additional electrical accessories, new door cards with new door seals and finishing trim. The interior also includes Bullet bedliner in the rear tub, as well as a Bluetooth sound bar mounted to the roll cage for premium stereo sound and hands-free calling.


Exterior restoration and upgrades include: 35 inch BF Goodrich mud terrain tires on custom painted wolf steel wheels with 35mm wheel spacers, 5 inch RTE suspension lift with RTE HD springs in the front, Old Man Emu HD springs in the rear, Bilstein 7100 long-travel shocks with remote reservoirs, Old Man Emu steering damper, RTE front castor-corrected arms, RTE adjustable trailing arms with greaseable Johnny joints, HD rear A-arm top link with 45 degree extension, new poly bushings throughout the driveline, RTE adjustable pan hard rod, Adrenaline 4x4 front lower spring retainers, RTE HD adjustable front upper shock mounts, RTE extended rear upper shock mounts, RTE front and rear lower shock mounts, Adrenaline 4x4 rear spring relocation cones, front and rear Tom Woods double-cardan drive shafts, EBC vented brake rotors and pads with over-sized calipers in the front, front and rear custom extended brake lines, swing away tailgate with swing-away spare tire carrier, Safety Devices full roll cage with Exmoor canvas soft top; freshly powder coated checker plate, front bumper, door hinges, hood hinges, hood latches and window pillars; overhauled and freshly powder coated military pintle hitch on the rear crossmember and Bullet bedliner on the fender flares and in the rear wheel wells. The underside of the vehicle and the front wheel wells have received a spray-on protective coating that appears to be a few years old but is still holding up well. The headlights have also been fitted with 6000 lumen LED bulbs for superior lighting at night.


Mechanical services include: engine service with new head gasket, Fi-Tech EFI install with Edelbrock upper manifold, new fuel pump and fuel level sender, overhauled fuel tank with new gaskets and seals, rebuilt front hubs with new bearings and grease, overhauled front and rear differentials with new oil; overhauled transmission and t-case with new seals, gaskets and fluids; serviced steering box, all internal and external electrical accessories and lighting serviced and operable, rebuilt emergency brake, brake rebleed and serviced rear drum brakes, full fluid flush with oil change and fresh coolant.


The vehicle includes a clean Colorado title. The listed price does not include sales tax. The listed price also does not include vehicle shipment, but we can arrange this on behalf of the buyer.
