This was the last year for the rear roof buttress style in the XJS line. In 1989, Ford took over Jaguar and changed this feature for 1991 XJSs. Black exterior, tan leather interior, chrome fender edges and spoiler. A complete conversion was completed professionally by Fountain Tire, St Albert in 2018. The V12 was swapped out for a Chev LS3 V8, 6.2 L brand new crate engine with ECU. Included was changing the three speed auto transmission to a 4L60-E auto. Final drive gear ratio changed out from a 2.88 to a 3.31 : 1 ratio. New engine accessories including: starter, alternator, power steering pump, as well as exhaust manifolds, exhaust system and mufflers, electric fan and 4 row core radiator, AC evaporator and AC compressor. All new fuel system components needed for the higher pressure LS3 injectors. New tires, Goodyear P215/65R15 95T. New head liner installed 2025. Hood louvers cut in and hood & spoiler painted, 2020. Mileage: 155000 km +/-Conversion cost $60,000. +. Invoices available to purchaser.
