Classic Car Overview
This truck is in very good condition for it's age. Items just replaced prior to sale include: Front rotors and brakes, rear brakes, CV Joints, full exhaust system to include new exhaust manifolds, high flow Cat and muffler, O2 sensor, steering stabilizer, 4 wheel drive actuator, new radiator, new heater core and new water pump. The frame has been cleaned, treated and coated with Eastwood ceramic black satin chassis 2 part paint. There was no appreciable rust anywhere except the area just above the spare tire which I ground down, treated and painted. The bed underside channels showed some signs of rust starting. This was easily removed and repainted as can be seen in photos. I also applied Rustoleum 2 part epoxy bed liner to the bed as can be seen. Door outer window seals have been replaced. Wheels are polished aluminum. The right interior carpet was cut and removed due to damage but I decided to leave the interior as is vs spending additional money to address items the buyer may want to change or upgrade. A replacement carpet is widely available from various sources for about $150. The original radio and fascia has been retained but were replaced with a Sony system and dash adapter. The headliner board is intact but the material separated and has been removed. The body and frame are in good condition overall. The original paint is chipping and there are areas of touchup on the hood, roof and doors. The overall appearance is exactly as seen in the photos. I often receive comments that it's a great looking truck. I currently have the truck registered with my LLC in Montana. Title is clear and I'm driving it occasionally. If you plan to register in Maryland, the rear bumper will need to be lowered slightly. Tires are in good condition with 3/4 of the original tread still intact. The stock engine still runs strong and has not been rebuilt or modified. The transmission was rebuilt and the rear end gears have been replaced by AAMCO. I have all documentation and the original owners manual. The transmission shifts smoothly in all gears. The 4 WD works as it should. I replaced the 4WD actuator with an improved version due to known issues with the stock unit.
