This 1990 Chevy C1500 is one of a kind. It was the service/parts truck for Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet in Newton, NC from the time it was delivered to the dealership in 1990 until September of 1993; when it was first sold to the public. Before being first sold to the public in 1993, the dealership replaced the original engine with a new 355 horsepower ZZ4 5.7L 350 V8 Engine. That engine remains in the truck today, and it was just serviced with a fresh oil change and new spark plugs (Valvoline Synthethic VR-1 oil, NGK V-power plugs). The "Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet" and "GM Goodwrench" logos were hand painted onto the truck when it was first delivered to the dealership in 1990. he hood has been ceramic coated to protect and preserve its true patina finish. The truck has remained in the southeast since first being sold (Georgia 1993-2023, Tennessee 2023-24), and has been thoroughly serviced and maintained throughout its life. We have stacks of service and maintenance records that go with the truck when sold.
