Classic Car Overview
1990 Buick Reatta Convertible For consignment from a passionate about Reattas consigner, this well cared for example was 1 family owned until recently, is very original, comes with lots of service receipts, and is presented very well with only 2,132 convertibles built in 90...somewhat rare. This car also has only traversed 36,462 title verified actual miles, has lots of conveniences, a sporty look, and a comfortable ride are just a few of its many assets. Exterior Bathed in its original Bright Red paint, it is holding up very nicely and with no rust and only one scuff on the neoprene bumper. A low mileage car helps a bit too, and this one is just fab! Hidden halogen headlights and a clean all working tan canvas convertible top this aerodynamic 2-seater can be a pleasure to drive. A gold accent pinstripe, and some 3-dimensional moldings just below the belt line with a chrome thin topper both race around this rounded car to create some highlight on the red. 15-inch aluminum wheels are on all 4 corners and are wrapped in like new rubber. Interior Saddle leather buckets are nice and comfortable and sit in a very clean and well preserved interior. Plenty of conveniences surround these seats including the actual drivers seat with adjustable power controls. Other features are a keyless entry, power windows, power steering, power door locks, cruise control, tilt steering and a rear window defogger. Even an AM/FM/Cassette player with an EQ is installed. The dash, center console, and door panels are all original equipment and are all like they just left the showroom. Speaking of the dash, it sports nifty vacuum fluorescent gauge displays and a blue LED mileage readout. Tan carpeting covers the floors, and a built in tonneau cover automatically covers the downed top. A shout out to the trunk which is also well preserved, very clean and has room for 2 golf bags. Drivetrain Under the hood is a 3.8 liter V6 which is horizontally opposed, and is fed fossils with EFI. A 4T60 4-speed automatic transmission is on back and this drive train is certainly all original. A 2.97 geared front axle drives the tires to propel you to the country club. Undercarriage All clean and just a few scrapes of the undercoating seen, however no rust, surface or otherwise. It is equipped with grand touring suspension, which is independent coil springs upfront, and independent with transfer leaf suspension on back. Power disc brakes are all around and the exhaust appears to be original. Drive-Ability A quick starter, and a smooth ride, (one would expect a sports car ride, but not this car...all luxury ride), good handling and bias free panic braking. All functions were working well save for the right headlight not rotating up when prompted and the right horn button falling off the steering wheel. While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase. An overabundance of documentation, and some swag that came with this original car, (car dealers would promise and include anything save for a toaster to sell cars in the early 90s!). Plenty of convenience options, and a convertible top. Comfort never looked so sporty. Sportiness never was so comfortable, but hey! Its a Buick. 1G4EC33C3LB908466 1-USA G-General Motors 4-Buick EC-Reatta 3-2 Door Convertible 3-Manual Belts, Drivers Airbag C-3.8L V6 3-Check Digit L-1990 B-Lansing, MI Assy Plant 908466-Sequential Unit Number Classic Auto Mall is home to more than 1,000 classic and collectible vehicles for sale via consignment in a climate controlled 336,000-square foot showroom (thats more than 8 acres!).
