This car is in good overall mechanical condition, with the timing-belt and water-pump recently replaced. The valve covers along with other seals and hoses have also been replaced, ensuring that there are no oil leaks. The transmission (transaxle) was overhauled at 197,000 miles, and the car currently has 214,878 miles. The iconic pop-up headlights are in good working order. It's currently riding on Hankook Ventus V2 concept tires which are in good condition.

Please note that there are some known issues with this car. The windshield wipers are currently disconnected because they will not turn off (probably a bad relay). The drivers side window motor needs to be replaced. The A/C works well; however, the heater-control-valve needs to be replaced as it is stuck, allowing heat to mix with the cold air. The passenger rear tail light is not working completely and the rear hatch lock mechanism is not functional.

The body is in good condition. There are some minor rust spots beneath the rear side windows which can be seen in the pictures. The car has never been wrecked or re-painted and there's plenty of original paint thickness for a skilled detailer to bring out the original luster.
