Excellent condition 300E from California, only recently brought to Indiana. Runs and drives well enough that it doesn't at all feel like a 37yr old car. The W124 Mercedes-Benz 300E is widely regarded as one of the finest automobiles ever built over-engineered to a standard rarely seen before or since. This 1989 example presents in classic Smoke Silver over a Grey interior and carries 140,000 miles on its naturally aspirated 3.0-liter inline-six, backed by a rear-wheel-drive chassis that still sets the benchmark for balanced, driver-focused sedans. The car is in excellent condition throughout. The Smoke Silver exterior retains its shape well with only a few minor paint scuffs consistent with its age no rust is present. The Grey interior is intact and has held up admirably over the decades. All trim, switchgear, and mechanicals are original, with the sole exception of an aftermarket radio everything else remains as Stuttgart intended.

Mechanical

Mechanicals are in great condition, car run and drives very well. Slight wetness possibly from the valve cover but does not leave anything on the ground.

Exterior

Wheels in great condition. paint is very good except for a small clear coat chip on the hood and a small scuff on the trunk lid.

Interior

Interior is wonderful, all controls work, even the radio antenna. Wood clear finish on the center console has a bit of cracking but is intact.
