Classic Car Overview

This is rolling nostalgia. The 1989 Lincoln Town Car was part of that popular generation where you or a family member cherished this full-size luxury machine. In fact, this fits that idea perfectly considering its a one-owner actual-mileage car thats highly original and loaded. The affordable price is just the cherry on top. This shows all signs of being the original Midnight Blue paint, and it seems to tell this cars story well. After all, you can understand how this can be a one-owner machine. You would also keep a car like this for all those decades if it were born in a color that has never gone out of style. Adding to this overall elegance is the well-coordinated blue package that includes the full-length double pinstripe and dark blue full canvas roof. This is a survivor car, and so it wont be perfect, but the overall impression lets you know it was cherished. And to go with all the crisply presented sheet metal is a great brightwork package. So its all complete, including the bumpers, mirror-like rockers, and trim that surrounds every piece of glass. And a premium car like this looks terrific on wire wheels. While the exterior easily lives up to the premium Lincoln name, its the interior where the reputation is really earned. Full-sized luxury means you can choose to seat six or fold down the armrests in both rows to give four people individual pillow-tufted comfort. The deep blue leather looks original and remains ultra-comfy. You will see signs of use in higher traffic areas like the drivers seat, but the way this looks like a smooth saddle, it was even worn-in with care. Theres a long list of desirable features, including cruise control, power seats, power locks, power windows, tilt steering column, electric rear defogger, and provisions for air conditioning (it will need servicing to blow cold again. And the radio has been cleanly upgraded to an AM/FM unit with USB input to let you have modern driving music in this classic Lincoln. And we love the optional digital gauge cluster thats pure retro-cool, and it even adds a trip computer. This is a premium Ford product from the 1980s, and so you know theres a 5.0-liter V8 under the hood. And on a one-owner car, you know its the original powerhouse. But while the fuel-injected motor was earning a street-eating reputation in the Mustang, this is quite a different setup. It utilizes its powerful and torque-filled heart in a more refined way. So no rumbling burnouts here, but you do get to be the first to pull away for the stoplight any time you want. In fact, good maintenance records show there was an investment to keep this a dignified luxury machine today. Plus, it has power steering, front disc brakes, and a four-speed automatic transmission with highway-friendly overdrive. So its the kind of classic luxury that can still easily take you in comfort on long road trips. This one has been cared for just like the Town Car from your memories. So when its time to reminisce, dont grab a photo album, and reach for this Lincoln instead. Call today!!!
