Vehicle Overview

1989 2 door Range Rover Classic. 2 Door RRC's were never sold in the USA and consequently they turn heads especially when they look as good as this one. This is a matching numbers RRC -engine, chassis, vin and colour code, as verified by Land Rover Historic UK. Cypress Green was a limited run for only two years and only available in conjunction with the 3.5 V8 engine so this is a very rare vehicle. Good luck finding another one!
The original Spencer King design (in my opinion) looks so much better than the 4 door, check out those door handles! This is a fabulous, rust free, restored vehicle imported from Spain.
Sad to sell it but I no longer have anywhere to park it indoors and this vehicle deserves to be stored out of the elements.

Mechanical

Everything works. Nothing needs to be done. Mechanically this vehicle is excellent. It drives incredibly well. Work carried out 2024 and 2025. Less than 1000 miles since work done. Re-spray Engine rebuild Vertical grill and headlight surrounds restored Disassemble heater and AC, restore and convert from R12 to R134 Replaced Belts, Alternator, Coil, Spark Plugs, HT leads, Distributor Fuel pump Cold start injectors Gearbox and Transfer case flush New filters Front Cardan drive shaft Wheel bearings Suspension - shocks, springs and bushings Stainless steel exhaust system Headliner Tires Brakes Electric window motors Lamps, bumpers, bumper corners and Range Rover logos

Exterior

Outstanding respray in the original Cypress Green. New bumpers, lamps and decals. Refinished wheels and new tires. Restored aluminium grill and headlight trims (rare).

Interior

The interior is original and in great condition. The seats, carpets, rubber mats (under carpets), door cards and aluminium sill trims were removed and deep cleaned/refinished/polished. New headliner installed. The car is 36 years old, the interior is original and is in excellent condition for the age but not perfect. There are a few marks on the seats and interior trim as shown in the pictures.
