This beautiful T-Bird came to us today with just 10,308 actual miles on the odometer and it definitely looks the part! This SC is wearing a driver-quality respray of deep blue metallic paint that really glistens in the light. The beautiful blue covers the entire car including the bumpers and both side mirrors. It is laser-straight down the sides and the panel gaps are perfect. The headlight lenses are crystal clear and the tail light covers look brand new as well. Black body side molding and black window trim add a nice accent to the blue paint and both are in excellent condition. The rear of the car sports Thunderbird SC indentations in the rear bumper, a third brake light, and outlets for the dual exhaust. The car has a nice stance on its 16 factory aluminum wheels wrapped in Goodyear Eagle VR60 tires. The entire exterior looks like that of a car made last year, as opposed to 35 years ago! It is just as clean underneath as it is on top so clean that its pretty safe to say that this car has never seen rain or snow. The hood lifts easily with the aid of hydraulic struts and an under-hood light comes on to reveal an impeccably clean engine bay thats home to a fuel-injected and super-charged 3.8 liter V-6. Factory markings, stamps, and stickers are all still intact and serve as a testament to the pristine quality of this Thunderbird. The V-6 is mated up to an M5R2 5-speed manual transmission that puts the power down via an 8.8 Ford axle with 2.73:1 limited-slip gears. This is an awesome drivetrain combination that offers exhilarating acceleration and freeway-friendly high-speed cruising. Other items that catch the eye under the hood include power steering, power brakes (4-wheel discs), automatic ride control, and A/C. The drivers door features keyless touchpad entry and when you open it the courtesy lights all come on to illuminate a stunning blue interior. The door panels are a stylish blend of vinyl, plastic, velour, cloth, and carpet and they look brand new. The doors feature working controls for power windows, locks, and mirrors. Up front are two fully power-adjustable cloth seats with lumbar supports that look like theyve never been sat in. In the rear is a bench seat for 3 with a fold-down armrest in the center that is of the same caliber as the front seats. Between the bucket seats is a center console thats home to an armrest/storage box, fog light switch, ride control switch, ashtray, emergency brake lever, and the leather-wrapped shifter for the 5-speed transmission. Climate controls are easy to use and crank out cold A/C and hot heat with a strong fan as well as offering rear defrost. The factory Premium Sound AM/FM/Cassette stereo powers up as it should, but unfortunately, there is no sound. Ahead of the driver is a 4-spoke SC steering wheel with cruise controls on a tilt column. Also on the column is a stalk for the working intermittent wipers. Ahead of the front passenger is a glovebox that contains a dealers binder with the original owners manual and factory hang-tags that came with the car new very cool! Above the glovebox is a flat section of the dash with a slide-away lid that offers some extra storage if needed. Overhead is a tight cloth headliner and underfoot is a nice stain-free blue factory carpet. Back in the clean carpeted trunk, youll find carpeted factory front floormats, a shop manual, and the original spare and factory jack.
