Classic Car Overview
Why should your wife and kids get to waste all your money? Speaking of the wife, will she be excited when she hears you coming home from 3 miles away, through two chamber flow masters? Nope. Be a man. If you have to ask your wife, you are not badass enough for this car. What's the 0-60 time? Wrong question, bub! The real question is, what's the 0-badass time? Answer instantly (results may vary).
This car is well maintained, and nearly stock, but with all that tree-hugging catalytic converter BS removed, you can breathe deep, knowing you're getting pure CO2 from the true dual exhaust tips. Lets face it, some crackhead would probably steal those anyhow. It has an upgraded short-throw shifter that came off in my hand once but is solid now. Let me tell you, that was a scary day. The motor has been replaced with a 300 HP, 302-cubic-inch 5.0-liter crate motor with a mild cam. Just wait until some poser rolls up in a 1,000 HP Dodge Demon, hears your chop chop, and begs to race. You'll just wave and smile, knowing there's no way this 1980s tech can even come in second place. Speaking of performance, how does it drive? Let's just say it drives pretty much as it did right off the showroom floor, which, consequently, isn't as good as my 2024 F-150. The transmission and rear end have both had their fluids changed and their seals redone, and they're in good condition. Seats and carpet are all in good condition. The paint has a few small spots here and there, and the roof might have been resprayed at one point. The car has either 55K or 155K original miles, likely the latter, based on the original clutch pedal pad. Suspension and steering are tight and have been restored to their original grandeur.
The original radio, you'll want a new one, and the speakers are blown. The good news is you won't hear it over the exhaust anyhow. The a/c works for a week after you charge it up. It must have a leak somewhere in the system. I do not think it's the O-rings. Willing to get it charged up to show you it works. The heater and defrost work well. All lights work, including taillights, fog lights, headlights, power windows, and turn signals, and all other controls function correctly.
Long story short, this is a well-maintained, low-mileage, nearly stock car in great condition with a new motor that brings smiles and waves everywhere she goes. If you want to look amazing and love raw V8 power like you had as a kid, don't miss this one.
