Classic Car Overview
This 1989 Chevrolet S10 is powered by a 4.3-liter V6 engine that has been bored .030 over and equipped with a new camshaft, Vortec heads, and Edelbrock carburetor within the last year. Features include a four-speed automatic transmission, a lowered suspension, a cowl induction hood, a drop-in bed liner, air conditioning, power steering and brakes, cruise control, and a digital AM/FM/CD stereo. Refinished in navy blue over a gray vinyl interior, this S10 is available now and comes from the selling dealer with a clean CARFAX report and a clear Virginia title.
EXTERIOR - FEATURES
The exterior was repainted navy blue under previous ownership and features chrome bumpers, a front air dam, LED headlights, and a cowl induction hood. Additional features include chrome rearview mirror caps and a drop-in bed liner with a tailgate protector.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of staggered-width 15-inch aluminum Hurst wheels is wrapped in 215/70/15 front and 275/60/15 rear Mastercraft Avenger G/T tires.
INTERIOR - FEATURES
The bench seat is upholstered in gray vinyl. Features include manual windows and locks, power steering and brakes, tilt steering, cruise control, a column-mounted automatic shifter, a Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo, and air conditioning.
INTERIOR - GAUGES
An 80-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 205,963 miles, which the selling dealer believes to be accurate. The last mileage figure logged in the CARFAX report was 204,805 miles on June 22, 2022.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 4.3-liter V6 engine bored .030 over and backed by a four-speed automatic transmission. A new camshaft, Vortec heads, and Edelbrock carburetor were installed within the last year. Underhood features include black Vortec valve covers, an aluminum intake, a black open-element air filter, and orange engine block paint.
This S10 was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. The suspension has been lowered. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums. A single exhaust system exits at the rear with dual outlets. Additional photos of the undercarriage can be seen in the carousel to the right.
The CARFAX report starts in October 1991 and shows an accident-free history with ownership in Virginia.
