Our Vanagons name is Meep (Its the sound the horn makes) and she is an all original gem of a find. Every part that has ever been replaced has been all original OEM parts mostly supplied by GoWesty. In the 10 years weve had her she has only been driven 10k miles and was garage kept by previous owners for 25 years before us. Meep has had 100 point inspections done by both SouthWesties and Kotters VW over our years and not a single issue was found. Both inspections came back absolutely clean without anything in need of repair. The fact that this is an all original vehicle with only 115k miles on its wasserboxer engine makes it an amazing find compared to any other Vanagon. We have always considered Meep to still be a baby and should easily get another 100,000 miles without any issues.

As a Westfalia Meep is a full camper that sleeps 4 people. 2 in the pop-top camper above and 2 on the fold down rear bench seat below. It is equipped with a 2 burner stove with external LP Gas Tank, sink with 13.2 gallon water tank, refrigerator, closet, 2 shelved cabinets as well 5 additional storage compartments. The pop-top has a screened window and also a small sunroof vent. We have added an auxiliary battery system with solar panel, so you should never run out of power while out on any adventure.

Meep has been a constant joy in our family as the family camper, but has mostly been used as our day at the beach vehicle. Our Kids have grown up camping all over SoCal and living a mile from the beach, weve taken every opportunity to load up our van for a fun day at the beach whenever possible. Unfortunately now our kids have grown up so we no longer all fit in the camper, so the time has come to pass on our amazing van to the next family or owner. We are of course super sad to see her go, but its time for her next generation of memories.

We have kept and will include hard copies of all service records and purchases from our 10 years. We have attached the CarFax report to our listing and also a Vin Check report so you can see there are zero issues with this vehicle. You will also notice we have priced this lower than other listings of similar year and condition, as we assume its next owner will want to refresh the paint. Meep has a few rust spots and could use some fresh paint while preserving her distinctive stripes.
